Job summary

This per diem role covers 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, with a base rate of $78.34/hr and potential differential up to $6.50/hr for night shifts and up to $5/hr for weekends.

You will lead staffing, bed placement, and patient flow, coordinating with nursing leadership, admissions, and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience required.
• Current California RN license required.
• BLS certification per AHA required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and patient flow for nursing units based on acuity and needs.
• Coordinate shift staffing with charge nurses and nursing leadership.
• Communicate with clinicians, admitting, bed management, and support services.
• Respond to codes and disasters, providing leadership as needed.
• Monitor risk and quality concerns and escalate appropriately.
• Model professional practice and support shared decision-making.
