Job summary

City of Hope seeks a Nursing Administrative Supervisor to optimize patient flow, staffing and bed utilization. You will lead after-hours and weekend operations, coordinate with charge nurses, admissions, and physicians, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Requires a BSN, CA RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least three years of supervisor experience. Per diem 12-hour shifts with a flat rate of $78.3435 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current California RN license required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing needs and assign staff based on acuity and patient care needs.
• Coordinate bed placement and patient flow with charge nurses and admitting staff.
• Respond to codes, disasters and rapid responses, providing leadership after hours and on weekends.
• Support nursing leadership and community with effective communication and change management.
