Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Women’s Services Unit, including a Level 2B nursery, Mother Baby, and Labor & Delivery. The schedule is 3x12s (7a-7p) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina or compact state RN license required.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Document medical necessity accurately in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
