Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the tour of duty, ensuring care aligns with federal, state, and local standards and regulations. The role includes administrative duties, policy development, and active participation in quality assurance and discharge planning.

The RN will supervise nursing staff, ensure adequate staffing, review care plans, and provide direct patient care as needed to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing.
• Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Assist in directing day-to-day nursing functions in accordance with regulations.
• Participate in developing, maintaining and updating nursing policies and procedures.
• Provide written and oral reports to the Director as necessary concerning nursing operations.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Manual and quality assurance programs.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed and ensure residents' needs are met.
