Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a General Purpose role inside a long-term care facility. The RN will supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the shift and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The position emphasizes supervising staff, maintaining nursing procedures, and coordinating care plans with the care team. CPR certification and active RN license in the state are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold a current RN license to practice in this state and have CPR certification.
• English language proficiency required for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Supervise nursing staff during the tour of duty and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop, maintain, and update the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related policies.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and annual surveys.
• Coordinate resident care plans with physicians, residents, and families.
