Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead and mentor nursing staff across home-based care. The role combines internal case management with field visits, ensuring Start of Care and re-evaluations are completed accurately while maintaining high clinical standards.

The position blends office coordination with hands-on field work, requiring travel to patient homes, supervision of care providers, and collaboration with operations to uphold regulatory compliance and exceptional client

Qualifications

• Must have good standing RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on nursing experience.
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes in designated territory.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass MVR check.
• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
• Willingness to supervise caregivers for infants to adults.

Responsibilities

• Internal case management, evaluation, and development of nursing talent.
• Transition patients from facility to home through Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations.
• Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as needed.
• Assist with selecting, training, and validation of new clinical staff.
• Promote and enhance clinical expertise to ensure safe, quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, local regulations and Aveanna policies.
