Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead and mentor nursing staff in Merrillville, IN, with in-home visits and potential hybrid work. Responsibilities include start of care evaluations, staff development, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires an active RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, CPR certification, and the ability to travel to patient homes. This is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on nursing experience.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes within designated territory.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification from AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Internal case management, education and development of nursing talent.
• Transition patients from facility to home via Start of Care assessments and re-evaluations.
• Review physicians’ orders and update care plans and documentation as needed.
• Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff.
• Promote clinical expertise to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
• Ensure adherence to state/federal/local regulations and Aveanna policies.

Education
