Job summary

Geisinger in Danville, PA seeks an RN Nurse Navigator Triage to provide nursing triage services by phone and in person, assess acuity, and deliver protocol-driven clinical advice for continuity of care.

BSN preferred; 5 years of nursing experience and ICU/ED experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint/Teams; day/evening shifts and 36 hours weekly. Generous benefits are included.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 5 yrs nursing experience preferred; ICU/ED experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing triage via phone and assess acuity and need for medical support.
• Provide protocol-driven clinical advice and patient education.
• Coordinate scheduling of emergency appointments and cross-department care.
• Document patient interactions accurately and timely.
• Assist orientation of new personnel to ensure proper training.
