Job summary

Geisinger in Pennsylvania is seeking an RN Nurse Navigator to provide triage services and health guidance to patients by phone and in person where available. This role supports clinical continuity and education, guiding patients through diagnostic results and care pathways.

The position requires a BSN with at least 5 years of nursing experience; ICU/ED experience is preferred. It offers a day/evening schedule, 36 hours weekly, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing triage services and health advice for patients over the phone and in person if applicable.
• Assess acuity level and determine need for medical support.
• Provide results and education related to diagnostic testing for continuity and quality of care.
• Provide protocol-driven clinical advice.
