Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an RN Nurse Navigator Triage to provide nursing triage services by phone and in person where applicable. You will assess acuity, provide clinical guidance, and ensure accurate communication and education while coordinating across departments.

The role supports a 36-hour weekly schedule with day/night rotations. BSN preferred with strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 5 yrs nursing experience strongly preferred.
• ICU/ED/critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Windows, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing triage services over the phone and in person.
• Assesses patients' acuity level and need for medical support.
• Delivers protocol-driven clinical advice and education.
• Maintains accurate, timely telephone and electronic messaging.
• Coordinates patient care and inter-department communications.
