UNC Health Care, Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Caldwell County, is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in a hospital setting. The nurse leads care using the nursing process and reports to the Nurse Manager/Director.

Responsibilities include education, evaluation, implementation, leadership, patient assessment, planning and research. Requires NC RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience. Full-time, night shift, onsite in Lenoir, NC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsabilités

• Education: identifies learning needs, attends programs, uses patient education materials.
• Care evaluation: identifies expected outcomes, collaborates with interdisciplinary team to evaluate care.
• Implementation: cares for patients with complex needs, performs bedside testing, follows policies and prioritizes care.
• Leadership: supports goals, communicates effectively, promotes safe and cost-effective care.
• Patient assessment: synthesizes data to determine care priorities and discharge needs.
• Planning: collaborates with patient/family to plan care with multidisciplinary input.
• Research: reads relevant journals and brings ideas to staff for assessment.
