Cape Fear Valley Health System seeks a Nursing Manager for Valley Hospice House Inpatient - General Care in Fayetteville, NC. You will direct, supervise, and coordinate unit operations, financial resources, and quality of care.

Lead an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient throughput and experience. Responsibilities include policy development, PI activities, and collaboration with care coordination to improve outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• BSN is required for the role.
• MSN or master’s in a health field preferred.
• Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and supervise clinical operations to provide care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for service provision.
• Establish collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate team meetings, rounds and effective communication among patients and families.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, OSHA, etc.).
• Ensure safety protocols and infection control within the unit.
• Oversee staff competency for equipment and procedures.
• Engage in Performance Improvement (PI) activities and quality control.
• Assist in selecting external patient care services as needed.
• Manage charge accuracy and monitor variances; support budget goals.
• Develop and evaluate strategic plans and budgets to enhance patient care.
