Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to direct the 1 North Observation unit in Fayetteville. You will supervise clinical operations, develop policies, and coordinate care across teams to ensure safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications include NC RN licensure, a BSN, and 2 years of management experience in Med/Surg/ED. MSN is preferred, with the ability to lead performance improvement and manage resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BSN required; MSN or higher preferred.
• Nursing certification preferred.
• 2 years of clinical experience in management required; 3–5 years in Med/Surg, ED or Urgent Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise clinical operations to provide care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures guiding services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to establish professional relationships.
• Lead meetings, rounds and communications among patients, families and staff.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, OSHA) and quality controls.
• Oversee budgets, PI plans and management outcome strategies.
