Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Licenses: Registered Nurse in DC; BCLS/ACLS as applicable.
• Experience: minimum 3 years leadership in medical-surgical nursing; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise patient care activities and nursing personnel on the unit.
• Consult with staff, physicians and Chief Clinical Officer on nursing issues and policies.
• Ensure adequate staffing and adherence to Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Act as administrative representative in the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer.
