Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjust care plans based on patient responses.
• Assess patients to determine venous access and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and provide feedback and appraisals.
• Mentor staff to enhance skills and career progression.
• Resolve conflicts among staff using mediation to maintain a positive environment.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives analyzing data and implementing care enhancements.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams for coordinated care.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies for patient safety.
