Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) in Hackensack, NJ to support execution of nursing strategic plans and lead clinical teams. This role emphasizes communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care to elevate outcomes.

The ANM will recruit, orient, and evaluate staff, participate in unit huddles and leadership rounding, and lead quality and evidence-based initiatives. A valid NJ RN license, BLS, and Magnet certification consideration are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required; BSN pursued within 3 years.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in the relevant specialty.
• NJ RN license; BLS required; Magnet certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment and retention strategies.
• Assist with unit huddles and leader rounding with employees.
• Participate in unit goal creation reflective of hospital goals.
• Lead or participate in evidence-based practice projects or research.
• Resolve conflicts and facilitate constructive resolutions.
• Complete employee corrective action plans/counseling as necessary.
• Prepare and conduct periodic performance evaluations for staff.
• Monitor unit orientation processes for all roles as necessary.
• Optimize the patient and family experience of care.
• Lead or conduct root cause analysis investigations.

Education

Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing

BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire
