Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to support nursing leadership, staffing, throughput, and quality outcomes. This RN-led role emphasizes collaboration, clinical excellence, and staff development across units to advance patient care and organizational goals.

The ANM will coordinate staffing, supervise front-line staff, and work with Nurse leadership to implement the nursing strategic plan, ensuring safety and high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• BSN in progress and/or plan to complete within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in the relevant specialty.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork, and focus on high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and unit throughput to support efficient patient care.
• Support quality and safety outcomes and staff competency.
• Assist with hiring, clinical and staff corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager to assess and implement nursing practice.
• Participate in decision-making at unit and hospital levels.
