Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s).
• Oversee daily operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency/disaster response policies.
• Monitor nursing standards of practice and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities related to patient care. Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources and manage staffing plans.
• Demonstrate leadership by coaching and mentoring team members.
• Supervise and monitor educational programs and evidence-based practice.
• Support the Magnet Program by coordinating documentation and data collection.
• Incorporate organizational goals into standard work and participate in committee work.
• Professionally address complaints and follow up with appropriate departments.
