Job summary

Fairport Rehab and Nursing, a 142-bed Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility serving the community for over a century, is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and uphold high-quality, person-centered care.

The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, support staff development, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain thorough EMR documentation while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to address resident and facility needs.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• Prior nursing supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and organizational skills
• Computer proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, teamwork, and compassionate resident care

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day nursing operations.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
• Promote staff development, accountability, and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete nursing documentation.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Monitor care practices and promote consistent standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and other departments to address resident and facility needs.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the nursing leadership team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Compensation

• Salary: $87,000-93,000 per year
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
