Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks a Nurse Educator to orient and educate nursing staff, ensuring safe, high-quality care aligned with federal, state, and facility guidelines.

You will develop education programs, supervise orientation, conduct annual competency assessments, evaluate staff performance, and manage Employee Health programs including immunizations. The role requires strong clinical experience in long‑term care and gerontology.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
• Experience in long-term care and gerontology preferred.
• Prior experience in adult education and clinical nursing excellence is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver education programs based on staff needs.
• Supervise new nurses during orientation.
• Perform annual competency assessments.
• Evaluate staff performance.
• Oversee Employee Health programs including immunizations.
