Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and action plan.
• Establish a facility-wide system for prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections for residents, staff, and visitors, including surveillance for communicable disease.
• Maintain accurate, complete staff development records for all personnel within facility.
• Works closely with department heads to assess ongoing learning needs of employees to meet residents and facility needs.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Now Hiring: RN Nurse Educator & Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection prevention goals and action plan.

• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors.This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread.

• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility.

• Works closely with department heads to assess the on-going learning needs of employees to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.

• Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.
