The NPD Practitioner facilitates curricula, mentors staff, leads change, and champions evidence-based practice to improve patient care and outcomes across our facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required.
• Certification: RN, BLS.
• Experience: 3 years of RN nursing/preceptor experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and develop core curricula.
• Assess learning needs through assessment and analysis of feedback and outcomes.
• Lead experiential learning activities using innovative teaching methods.
• Foster acceptance, adoption, and action toward change.
• Mentor and lead nursing staff; establish effective communication networks.
• Champion scientific inquiry and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to improve nursing practice and outcomes.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate competency programs; address staff deficiencies.
• Support orientation, nurse residency, and role transitions to promote retention and growth.
