Qualifications

BSN required; MSN required.
Current RN license in applicable state with good standing.
BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS and AHA instructor certifications preferred.
NPD specialty or related certification within 1 year of hire.
3-5 years of nursing experience with education experience.

Responsibilities

Assess learning needs and provide just-in-time education.
Collaborate with leaders to develop tailored education programs.
Utilize adult learning principles and multiple modalities.
Plan and evaluate onboarding programs for new hires and role transitions.
Design and deliver service line programs to raise quality and standards.
Define and evaluate clinical competencies to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate performance with system leaders and drive improvement plans.
Provide group teaching, coaching, and build preceptor capacity.
Encourage certification and lifelong learning.
