Job summary

Willow Creek Health Care Center, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PM shift on a full-time basis in California. The role focuses on supervising day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring high-quality resident care, and adhering to federal, state, and local standards.

CPR certification and an active CA RN license are required. The RN will work under the DON/ADON, coordinating care, administering medications, and mentoring nursing staff to maintain excellence in resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current California RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; no new graduates at this time.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee quality care during the PM shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor resident care to ensure adherence to care plans and facility standards.
• Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident status and care needs.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges as required.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Provide ongoing training and leadership to nursing staff.
• Maintain documentation and complete reports as required by policy and regulatory agencies.

The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to maintain the highest level of resident care and satisfaction.

Work Environment

This position requires working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals in a skilled nursing environment. The role involves periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism under pressure.
