Job summary

Willow Creek Health Care Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PM shift. The RN will supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring quality care per federal, state, and local standards, under the DON/ADON guidance.

The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and strong communication with residents, families, and the care team, including admissions and ongoing care management.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of California.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; new graduates not eligible.
• CPR certification required; leadership and communication skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate day-to-day activities during the PM shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor resident care and ensure adherence to care plans and facility standards.

Registered Nurse (RN) – PM Shift Willow Creek Health Care Center

Pay range $40.00-$45.00

Schedule: Full-Time, PM Shift General Purpose.

The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the PM shift. The Registered Nurse (RN) ensures that quality care is provided in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to maintain the highest level of resident care and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
• Must have at least one (1) year of nursing experience — no new graduates at this time.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, quality care and lead by example.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This position requires working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals in a skilled nursing environment. The role involves periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism under pressure.
