Job summary

Aperion Care seeks an RN Night Supervisor to lead professional nursing practice and supervise quality care for patients. You will ensure adequate nursing procedures, coordinate programs, and solve clinical and administrative issues within policy.

The role leverages nursing expertise to guide staff, respond to emergencies, and maintain high standards across shifts, with responsibility for scheduling, rounds, and daily operations in a care facility.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Supervisory experience in a team leader role.
• Work experience as a professional nurse.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Determines the optimal allocation of present staff, per shift and assignment on each unit is present.
• Coordinates the care of patients on assigned shifts; communicates shifts concerns to staff.
• Review of 24 Hour Report and review patients for change of condition.
• Serves as administrative authority for the smooth functioning of all units; notifies directors of urgent concerns.
• Receives employee, resident, and family grievances and refers information to management.
• Assists nurses in completing risk assessments and investigations of injury.
• Notifies learning needs to Assistant Director of Nursing and HR Director.
• Replaces for absences and vacancies; assists staff with call-offs and scheduling.
• Directs staff response to emergencies and participates in drills; implements evacuation plans.
• Attends Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement meetings.
