Job summary

Eastern Health Group is seeking a Registered Nurse Night Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and clinical operations in a nursing home setting. The role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient service coordination at night.

Responsibilities include supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; maintaining documentation in EHRs; coordinating care plans; and responding to emergencies. Requires Virginia RN/LPN license, BSN preferred, and 2–3 years in long-term care with CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in Virginia (active)
• BSN preferred
• 2–3 years nursing experience in long-term care/geriatric setting
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification current
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations, infection control, and care planning
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing care delivery to ensure quality, safety, and resident dignity
• Supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during shifts and provide clinical guidance
• Ensure regulatory documentation and HIPAA/OSHA compliance; prepare for inspections
• Monitor medication administration and assist with complex treatments as needed
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and act as liaison for residents, families, and physicians
