Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking an RN Night Supervisor to provide professional supervisory nursing practice for patients at our Chicago facility. This role oversees the delivery of high-quality nursing care, coordinates shift staffing, and ensures unit operations run smoothly under established policies and practices.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have supervisory experience, and are CPR certified. The position requires leadership in emergencies and active participation in QA/PI activities

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in a nursing setting.
• CPR certification and ability to respond to emergencies.
• Professional nursing experience in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Determines optimal staff allocation per shift and unit readiness.
• Coordinates patient care for assigned shifts across units and communicates concerns.
• Reviews daily 24 Hour Reports and monitors changes in patient condition.
• Acts as administrative authority to ensure smooth unit operations and reports urgent issues to leadership.
• Receives grievances, refers to appropriate managers, and supports staff development.
• Participates in disaster drills, quality assurance, and performance improvement meetings.
