Job summary

Eastern Health Group is seeking a Registered Nurse Night Supervisor to lead clinical and administrative nursing functions on the night shift in a skilled nursing setting. You will ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and smooth care coordination.

Responsibilities include supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, maintaining EHR documentation, handling emergencies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN or LPN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable.
• 2–3 years in long-term care or geriatric settings.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care and ensure quality, safety, and dignity.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance during shifts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate EHR documentation.
• Monitor medication administration and coordinate treatments as needed.
• Facilitate communication between staff, residents, families and physicians.
