Job summary

Eastern Health Group is seeking a Night Supervisor RN to oversee nursing staff in a nursing home setting. The role involves ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient service coordination.

The candidate should have an RN or LPN license in Virginia, 2–3 years in geriatric care, and supervisory experience. CPR/BLS certification and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN/LPN license in Virginia.
• Associate’s or BSN preferred.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric setting.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations, infection control, and care planning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of nursing care to meet quality and safety standards.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and address concerns.
• Coordinate and supervise implementation of resident care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care and documentation.
• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Provide guidance and clinical support as needed.
• Participate in staff evaluations and ongoing development.
• Ensure proper shift hand-offs and documentation.
