Job summary

Maple Heights Behavioral Health, a new 120-bed inpatient hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Registered Nurse House Supervisor for night shift. The role oversees nursing operations, staffing, patient safety, and care delivery with 3 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Requires BSN, behavioral health experience and supervisory background; three+ years of nursing practice preferred. Competitive benefits and a $15k bonus offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• BSN required or in BSN program with graduation expected within 18 months of hire.
• Three or more years’ experience in nursing practice required.
• One or more years’ experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
• One or more years’ supervisory/charge experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and staffing to ensure adequate care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document medical and behavioral health information and administer medications as per policy.
• Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory and governmental standards.
• Lead shift for admissions and discharges and manage staffing adjustments as needed
