Maple Heights Behavioral Health in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN role with weekend shifts, supporting an inpatient 120-bed facility for adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental health needs.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license per state requirements.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR certification and de-escalation/restraint training required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Mansioni

• Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs to provide and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Administer medications per orders and document controlled substances.
• Transcribe physicians' orders accurately and monitor patient status.
• Provide therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with staff, patients, and visitors.
