Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking Registered Nurses for the Medical-Surgical Unit. The role offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a pay range of $36.00 to $49.16 per hour with a night shift schedule. Eligibility for the bonus and payout terms apply and will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate required on hire and current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and current preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and report changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products per orders and policies.
• Coordinate with physicians, APPs, therapists, and other team members.
• Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and interventions.
• Operate and monitor clinical equipment for the department.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, meds, treatment, and discharge.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
