Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit in Greene, Maine. The role offers a pay range of $36.00-$49.16 per hour with a full-time night shift and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required at hire; maintain current.
• ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments per orders and policies.
• Coordinate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other team members.
• Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and department interventions.
• Operate and monitor clinical equipment as assigned.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
