Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certification at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained (preferred).
• Experience in Acute Care hospital setting preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments per orders and policies.
• Coordinate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other team members.
• Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and other department interventions.
• Operate and monitor clinical equipment appropriate to the department.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, plans, and discharge.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
