The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Nursing, with a Bachelor’s preferred, and is licensed as an RN with BLS and ACLS. Strong communication, teamwork, and computer literacy are essential for delivering holistic patient care and ensuring continuous unit
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a unit and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Follows strict infection prevention precautions.
- Adheres to policies and procedures regarding medication safety.
- Sets measurable and achievable short- and long-range goals for patients and develops individualized plans of care.
- Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments and modifies plans as needed.
- Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team and completes thorough hand-off communication.
- Manages staff accountability and adherence to regulatory requirements when applicable.
