Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, Florida, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will provide direct patient care, follow infection prevention precautions, and ensure medication safety while developing individualized care plans for our patients.

Required is a Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS and NIHSS (APEX) certifications. An Associate degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active Florida RN license required.
• PALS, BLS, ACLS, and APEX NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Follows strict infection prevention precautions.
• Adheres to policies and procedures regarding all aspects of medication safety.
• Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients and plans of care.
• Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments and modifies plans as needed.
• Applies knowledge pertaining to diagnoses, procedures, medications, and equipment for unit patients.
