Job summary
The Civic Center Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night-shift team in Birmingham, AL. You will provide direct nursing care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to implement individualized care plans.
Qualified candidates hold a valid RN license and current BLS/CPR certification, possess strong geriatric and rehabilitation care knowledge, and demonstrate

Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting
- Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery
