Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds an Alabama RN license, can work in a fast-paced setting, communicates clearly with patients and families, and is comfortable handling medications and treatments.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN licensure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to residents and patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct patient assessments, identify care needs, and develop and implement effective care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient charts and reports.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with our therapy team to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
