Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Jefferson Manor Rehab & Wellness Center in Shelbyville, KY, is seeking an experienced RN for Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM). You will provide direct nursing care, manage medications, and supervise nursing assistants, while ensuring resident comfort, safety, and dignity.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in Kentucky, with 1+ year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify the physician of changes.
• Develop and review individualized resident care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
