Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse House Supervisor at High Point Medical Center. This full-time role includes 3 twelve-hour night shifts weekly, from 7pm to 7am, totaling 36 hours. Compensation ranges from $44.15 to $66.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Lead and coordinate nursing care, mentor staff, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with physicians and families while upholding hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Three years clinical experience with demonstrated clinical expertise and management abilities.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of applicable state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises safe, efficient nursing care in line with standards and policies.
• Assesses delivery of patient care and supports patient/family teaching.
• Acts as liaison between patient, physician and family and advocates for the patient.
• Maintains effective communication among nursing and other departments.
• Implements hospital policies and directs staff in nursing activities.
• Keeps clinical expertise up to date to model quality care.
