Job summary

Bend Transitional Care is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in Bend, Oregon. You’ll deliver safe, individualized care and collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team to support residents’ recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Oregon RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care with sound clinical judgment.
• Supervise and support nursing staff.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Safely administer and manage medications and treatments.
• Communicate changes with physicians, families, and care team.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation, assessments, orders, progress notes, and flowsheets.
• Monitor resident responses to medications and report adverse reactions.
• Maintain narcotic records and ensure orders are followed.
• Respond to emergencies and perform CPR when needed.
• Protect resident rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow regulations, Nurse Practice Act, and company policies.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

What You’ll Do

As an RN at Bend Transitional Care, you’ll play a key role in providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care to our residents. You will:

• Maintain accurate narcotic records and ensure medication orders are followed
• Respond to emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and perform CPR when needed
• Protect resident rights and maintain confidentiality
• Follow federal and state regulations, the Nurse Practice Act, and company policies and procedures
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Licensure & Certifications

Current Oregon RN license

Current CPR certification

Experience

Six months of long-term care experience preferred
