Job summary

Bend Transitional Care is a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility providing compassionate transitional and post-hospital care. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night-shift team on 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current Oregon RN license, CPR certification, and at least six months of long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Oregon RN license.
• CPR certification.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care with sound clinical judgment.
• Supervise and support nursing staff.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Safely administer and manage medications and treatments.
• Communicate changes in resident condition with physicians, families, and members of the care team.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation, assessments, orders, progress notes, and flowsheets.
• Monitor resident responses to medications and treatments and report adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate narcotic records and ensure medication orders are followed.
• Respond to emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and perform CPR when needed.
• Protect resident rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow federal and state regulations, the Nurse Practice Act, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
