Job summary

Methodist Women’s Hospital in Elkhorn, NE is seeking a compassionate Mother Baby RN with at least one year of RN experience for night shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. We are seeking a compassionate Mother Baby RN to join our night shift team and provide care to postpartum mothers and their newborns in a family-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN experience required: minimum one year.
• BSN or MSN required or obtained within 5 years for those with ADN.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care for postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and plan of care.
• Educate and involve parents in newborn care and discharge planning.
• Maintain SBAR communication and ensure patient safety and high care standards.
• Adhere to nursing protocols and professional practice standards.
