Job summary
Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother/Baby unit on the Night shift. This full-time third-shift position covers postpartum care with dedicated newborn nursery support and lactation resources available.
New graduates are welcome to apply and contribute to a family-focused, patient-centered care environment. The RN will perform nursing duties in accordance with Kentucky Nursing Laws and hospital policies, promoting safe, effective care and participating in shared governance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Active Kentucky License.
- BCLS required within 90 days of hire.
- NRP required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Implements the nursing process for assigned patients across age groups.
- Promotes positive patient outcomes and quality care in the unit.
- Participates in unit governance and maintains professional practice standards.
