Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City – Memorial Rd Mother Baby unit seeks a registered nurse for night, full-time shifts (36 hours per week) in a high-energy obstetrics and newborn care setting. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the appropriate state, with NRP and BLS certifications either held or completed within 30 days of hire.

Unit features multiple OB/Delivery and newborn care capabilities, with lactation support and a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking each shift are required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications may be required.
