Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the medical floor on the night shift. The unit delivers care to adults with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients.

The RN provides assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, coordinating with the health team and supervising LPNs/CNAs. BSN within 4 years, MT RN license and BLS required; sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may apply.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
