Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift on our medical floor. The unit cares for adults with respiratory, cardiac and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients.

A BSN is required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service, and MT RN licensure plus BLS on hire are mandatory. National certification is preferred and you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, developing care plans and ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program is required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
