Job summary

Sequoia Transitional Care in Porterville, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Full-Time NOC shift. Pay is $47-$50/hr (DOE). The RN will provide skilled nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, supervise CNAs, and ensure care plans and regulations are followed.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license in good standing.
• Prior SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication & clinical skills.
• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and clinical oversight for residents
• Conduct assessments, administer medications & treatments
• Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff on shift
• Ensure compliance with care plans, facility policies & state/federal regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report changes in resident condition
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges & incident reports
• Promote a positive, safe, and caring environment
