Job summary

Sequoia Transitional Care in Porterville, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the overnight NOC shift on a full-time basis. You will provide skilled nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, and support the clinical team.

You will supervise CNAs, ensure care plans and regulations are followed, maintain accurate documentation, and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Join a team with compassionate, resident-centered care and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license in good standing.
• Experience in SNF/long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and clinical oversight for residents.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications & treatments.
• Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff on shift.
• Ensure compliance with care plans, facility policies & state/federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report changes in resident condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges & incident reports.
